Obituary

Jeffrey Brian Davis
November 12, 1961 – December 13, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Brian Davis on December 13th, 2025, in Sylvan Lake, Alberta.

Jeff was born on November 12, 1961, in Fort MacLeod, Alberta, to his parents Barb and Norm Davis. He spent his early years in Fort MacLeod, where he attended school before going on to study at S.A.I.T., earning his journeyman welder certification. This trade led him to a long and dedicated career with Elk Valley Resources.

In 1995, Jeff married the love of his life, Donna. Together they welcomed their son, Dylan, in 1997, who was Jeff’s greatest pride and joy and later became his trusted hunting partner.

Jeff is survived by his wife Donna, son Dylan (Desiree Perrin), sister Norma Jean Rideout (Jerry), aunt Linda (Chester), uncle Myron (Maureen), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Barb and Norm Davis, his aunt Marilyn and uncle Stewart, his in-laws Ann and Clarence Morrow, and his brother-in-law, Ken Morrow.

Jeff had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent much of his free time fishing, hunting, and golfing. These activities brought him peace challenge, and connection with those he loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hillcrest Fish and Game Protective Association.

As per Jeff’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Our condolences to Donna, Dylan, Puff and his extended family and friends. Jeff was a life long friend with whom we shared some great memories and tons of great laughs. While time and space separate old friends whenever we got together it was always a time filled with belly laughs and great memories. So sad to lose him so young, shocked actually, life is truly fragile. He loved hunting and fishing and spoke of it often, they were truly his passion from the time he was young. Rest in peace buddy, hope you and Doug are sharing some laughs, gonna miss you.

Donna and Dylan;
Words will never be enough to convey the absolute shock it was to hear of Jeff's passing.
Over the short time, that I was lucky enough to know Jeff, I saw what a great sense of humour and sense of family he had.
Jeff, enjoy scoping out the hunting grounds above and continue watching over your loved ones left behind.
Your loss certainly leaves a huge space left empty. Thank you for being Donna's love and side kick for all of these years.
Much love to you all.

Kim and Vic Halberg:

Jeff is my favourite cousin, we played, wrestled as children and Jeff is an absolutely joyous “CUZ” to spend time with. A man with a loving heart, such a very proud father and a man who loved Donna fiercely, proudly. I will miss all our talks, texts and pictures. Our hearts absolutely ache for Donna, Dylan and the world is now a sadder, quieter place to wander about in..My heart aches, for his lovely wife and beautiful young son, and the rest of his family and good friends. Jeff , you will always be in my heart. Our love and sympathy to (3D) Donna and Dylan. Hugs always with love and great sadness ——- Kim and Vic ❤️
