Kenneth Wayne Kiesal
1950 - 2026
Kenneth Wayne Kiesal passed on July 9, 2026, after a short illness. He was 76 years old; born in Galahad, and raised on the family farm in Forestburg, Alberta.
An electrician by trade, his work took him from the coal mines of Hinton to the wide world of the oil industry, living and working in at least 10 different countries. His computing hobby became his second profession, and he ended his career designing and managing complex computer programs.
Retirement took him home to Alberta where he could pour his energies into his love of the outdoors and watching every Oilers and Blue Jays game.
He is deeply missed by his wife, Lisa, sons Casey, Jeff and granddaughter Ava, sister Joyce, a loving extended family and the greatest friends a guy could have.
Upon his request, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alberta Cancer Foundation.
