Merle Denise Cozman was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly on the morning of Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the age of 67 years old.
She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 15, 1955, where she was raised by her parents Bill and Loretta (Dorsch) Cozman. She graduated high school in 1973 and moved to Saskatoon, SK shortly afterward. This is where she met her first husband, Pat Hrynchyshyn. ln May of 1976, they were married in Buchanan, SK and settled in Alberta where they were blessed with four children.
She loved her dogs; they brought her such immense joy. She had a special love for Pekingese puppies, having seven in the course of her life. She made friends all over the world with people who also shared a love for Pekingese.
Merle loved her family with all of her heart. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for Bruce, her children or her grandchildren. Her generosity didn't stop with just her family, she had a soft spot for anyone in need. lf someone needed a job, no matter if she needed the help or not, she'd always find something for them to do. Her heart was so giving and so full. She was loved so much and will be missed more than she could ever know.
Merle joins her mother Loretta, father Bill, brothers Billy and John and her sister Linda in Heaven, leaving behind her husband Bruce, Brother Jim (Tracey), children Patrick, Kevin (Ashley), Danielle and Billy; Three grandchildren, Sofiya, Jade and Hendrix, as well as countless friends and acquaintances she had connected with over her life.
