Royal Canadian Legion #212, Sylvan Lake, Alberta
Blaine Larry Northcott of Sylvan Lake, Alberta peacefully left us on June 13, 2025 while on a fishing trip in one of his favourite fishing spots in British Columbia.
Loved and missed by his wife Natalie Jane Northcott (nee Bagnall); son Luke Charles Northcott; and daughter Eden Ashley Northcott and her husband Matthew Fifield who are expecting their first child in October 2025.
To honour Blaine’s final wishes, a private scattering of his ashes will be fulfilled by his immediate family members at a later date.
As this was unforeseen for everyone, your patience and love are appreciated. Respect for the privacy of the immediate family during this time of intense mourning would also be appreciated.
Fishing In Heaven… Forever In Our Hearts.
A Celebration of Life for Blaine will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Royal Canadian Legion #212, Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Light lunch and refreshments will be served. Come join the family for a time of sharing memories and remembrance.
Memorial donations in memory of Blaine may be made to Freshwater Conservation Canada at https://www.freshwaterconservationcanada.org/ under the “In-memorium” section of their donations page.
Bonnie Jarmain:
Blaine was one of the best brother's you could ever ask for, he loved his parents, brother Brad and brother-in-law Ian and all of his fishing buddies which were his best friends. His proudest accomplishment was being Dad to Luke & Eden. He has joined our sister Brenda and they are probably having the best time right now. Life will never be the same with out Blaine, he is so deeply missed, love Bonnie
