Obituary

Jamie Rae Christensen
March 17, 1983 – October 31, 2024

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Rae Christensen in Sylvan Lake, Alberta on October 31, 2024, at 41 years old.

Jamie was very creative and loved spending time creating her artwork. She forged many beautiful metalworks and even began passing down her artistic love to her daughter. She had the talent of playing classical music on her piano, and had a love for classical music in general. Gardening was another enjoyable activity for Jamie. Hours were spent picking weeds and making the gardens beautiful.

She lived life as a total free spirit, loving the life she was given.

Jamie leaves to mourn her mother Sherry Christensen; father Raymond Christensen; daughter Avalee; brother Kevin Christensen; godfather Tom Logan; partner Lawrence; as well as many friends.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Stan and Doreen Logan; and stepfather Bobby Mcdonald.
Jamie will be missed deeply but will be remembered in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chief's Restaurant on Lakeshore Drive, Sylvan Lake at 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. All are welcome to attend.

Jayme my daughter was your room mate along with my son a few years later, I loved the way you dressed like pippy longstocking you always called me nano and would give me little trinkets you made , you were truly one of a kind and I’m going to miss you
