Edward Riel Breland
1959-08-30 to 2025-07-30

Riel died at home on July 30, 2025. He was very loved by local community members and family.

Riel was very proud of his 17-year marriage and career at Canada Post. He leaves behind his wife, sister, and daughter and joins his late father, mother and brother in heaven.

He was a very talented man on the guitar and mandolin. He wrote his own music and was a very good cover artist who sang and played keyboard as well. He enjoyed travelling the world with his mother, and lived on Vancouver Island for a time. He loved the ocean and being in nature. He was an avid biker, hiker and skier and was very creative. He enjoyed whittling sculptures of wood and enjoy the arts just like his mother did. He was a good man through and through.

The family is very saddened by his sudden passing but would enjoy it if you could say a prayer for him. His loved ones will miss him dearly. There will be no service held as his relatives are too far to attend. If you feel compelled you can send notes of experiences of Riel to rielbreland@gmail.com for the family to remember him by.
