Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan Moon, 64 years old, of Sylvan Lake, Alberta on April 10th, 2026.

Bryan was a faithful man who gave his life to Jesus and his quiet, steady faith guided the way he lived, loved and cared for others. He was known for his honesty, strong integrity and kind of character that spoke for itself. Bryan took pride in doing things the right way, and in being someone his family and friends could always rely on.

He built a meaningful career with Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as a Supply Management Professional, contributing to the development of both the Horizon and Albian construction projects. He was dedicated to his work and took pride in being part of something larger, always approaching his responsibilities with diligence and professionalism.

Outside of work, Bryan found joy in the outdoors; hunting, camping, working on projects and firing up the BBQ. More than anything, he loved taking care of people around him by showing up, helping out, and making sure he looked after those he loved.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen, his daughter Lindsay (Darin) Kuntz, his son Jason and his cherished grandchildren, Jaxon and Alexa. He is also survived by his mother Ginny, brother Darren, his in-laws Bob and Shirley Donahue, his brothers-in-law Kevin (Catrena) and Keith (Jacqueline) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bryan was predeceased by his father, Burton, his aunt Sandy Donald, his uncles Jim Donald, Ken Moon, Ray Moon and Darryl Anderson, his grandparents Ed and Edna Anderson and Hugh and Edna Moon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 17th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pioneer Lodge 4324- 46A Ave, Red Deer, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honour Bryan are encouraged to do so by spending time with loved ones, offering support to one another and carrying forward the same faith, strength and integrity that he lived each day.

Bryan will be deeply missed and forever loved.
