Obituary

Marilyn Fay Carlson was born to Alex & Marcella Storey on May 19, 1944. She passed away July 17, 2024.

Marilyn was a hard-working woman, she helped out on the farm, ran the restaurant at Burnt Lake Auction Market, and then she & Peter started a Catering company. After they sold the farm and the M&P Enterprises businesses in 2002, they spent their winters in Yuma and Osoyoos, making friends wherever they went.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 53 years Peter Carlson; her 6 daughters Janet & Frank, Barbara & Tom, Edie & Kevin, Marie & Randy, Tammy & Gene and Sandra; 11 Grandchildren Anna, Jamie, Brad, Hans, Ryan, Cody, Dylan, Jordan , Bailey, Bethany, and Sydney; and 1 great grandson Tripp Mitchel. She is also survived by her loving Sister-in-Laws Allison Storey, Marion Coupland and her children Faron & Rae-Lynne their daughter Ashley, and Joanne & Scott and their children Jessica & Eric; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her so much.
She lived a full life and was loved by many.

There will be no formal service.

She will be missed
