Lazar Tzvetan Tzachev (Roszell)
1975-2026

Lazar Tzvetan Tzachev, born on November 9, 1975, in Vancouver, British Columbia at St Paul's Hospital. From the very beginning, it was clear that Lazar was no ordinary child. As the oldest sibling of four, he carried himself with a natural grace and an intellectual curiosity that set him apart. Lazar graduated with honors from Lindsay Thurber High School. In a fond family memory, his little sister Opal was invited to participate in a modelling seminar in Banff, Alberta. Upon arrival, it was Lazar’s Armani-quality good looks and magnetic charm that stole the hearts of the participants and scouts.

Music and art, particularly drawing, was a vibrant thread in Lazar’s life. He possessed a remarkably powerful voice and loved nothing more than to belt out a tune alongside his musical family members whenever the opportunity arose. On the outside, he was a beautiful person, but his inner soul truly glowed bright as the sun. If duty called or someone he loved needed him, he would always rise to the occasion.

One of Lazar’s true passions lies in the realms of technology, innovation, and futuristic thinking. This led him to embark on a journey into studying computer programming. Lazar was a masterful video game expert, dedicating hours conquering and exploring the architecture of some of the greatest games. Over the years, his journey took him to different places, including residing in Sylvan Lake, where he navigated the chapters of his life.

Lazar loved family events and showed his culinary skills by participating in wonderful family meals. He also loved giving gifts to his family and friends to show his appreciation and love. He also had a strong passion for hockey (The Vancouver Canucks), basketball and movies. His family chooses to honour his journey of love and grace by remembering his spectacular light.

Lazar was predeceased by his beloved younger brother Ziah Alexander Tzachev. He is loved dearly and will be missed beyond measure, by his mother, Darcene Gallant Tzachev, his father Tzvetan Borissov Tzachev, his brother Peter Luke Tzachev, his little sister Opal Andrae Roszell, his nephew Dominik Ziah Patterson along with his stepparents, Jane and Dennis Roszell. He will also be missed by his wonderful aunts and uncles and many friends that he met throughout his life. His absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of his large extended family, his close friends, and everyone who had the privilege of witnessing his remarkable mind and beautiful soul.

Donations made to Community Partners Association in Sylvan Lake on Lazar’s behalf would be most welcome.

Darcene:

Oh my, I got to be your mom. My beautiful savant son. Our firstborn. Treasured. I think Rudyard Kipling wrote his poem "If" just for you. I love you so much.

Raquel :
