Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Charlotte Maria McQueen on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 72. She leaves behind her two daughters, Jody-Anne (Travis) Davis and Kelly (Dave) McQueen, and her beloved grandchildren Kayla, Braiyten, Bailey, Jace, and Taedyn. Charlotte is also survived by her three cherished great-grandchildren, Emsley, Everett, and Brynn, as well as affectionate goldendoodle, Fred.

Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished the simple joys of life. She had a passion for gardening, baking, knitting, and remained active with various hobbies. Her home was always a welcoming place, where everyone felt like family, and no one left without a sandwich or a snack for the road. She cherished the time spent living in the countryside and the peaceful surroundings. The family is deeply grateful for all the kind words, phone calls, and visits they have received.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at The Sylvan Lake Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are kindly accepted by the Red Deer Hospice. We look forward to seeing everyone and sharing all the loving memories.
