Anne Marie Burns

Born January 6, 1930.
Passed September 5, 2016.

On Monday, Sept 5, 2016 Anne Burns (Dobia) passed on peacefully.
Anne will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family: her husband of 66 years, Stanley; and three children - Gayle Bucher (Bob), Beverley Campbell and Sheldon Burns (Sheryl).
Grandchildren - Josh Campbell (Morgan), Rachelle Stan, Tyler, Joel, Krista and Jeremy Burns.
Great Grandchildren - Clare and Greer Campbell.
Also survived by her dear sisters - Helen Shippelt Vath and Stephanie Hansen, brother-in-law Don Hansen, Robert Burns (Lori) and cousin Fairy (Frew) Dolan.
Anne was the fifth of six children of Frank and Anna Dobia and was raised on the family farm near Evergreen. Her siblings and nieces and nephews were her friends for life and she treasured them: Frank Dobia (Ardell), Ted Dobia (Mary), Helen Shippelt Vath (Walter), Val Engman (George) and Stephie Hansen (Don). Anne is also predeceased by Bruce Burns (Darline).
Anne was an amazing farmwife in Diamond Valley, seamstress, gardener and "best cook west of Red Deer". She was an ardent reader, family historian and master game player. Her faith in God was an example to her family. She was a very good friend to many and will be dearly missed.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you, as you say an earthly goodbye to a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. Anne was a grand lady, loved by many.
