The family would like to request that no children under the age of 16 are present at the service. Thank you for your understanding.
Marsha Bennett (née Boucher), age 54, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2025, in Lacombe County, Alberta.
Marsha lived life to the fullest. Her days were filled with movement, laughter, and the company of family and friends. As a personal trainer, she inspired others to live actively, and when she wasn't training, you could find her immersed in nature—horseback riding, trapping, camping, kayaking, or paddleboarding. Her deep love for animals was evident through the many rescue dogs she cared for over the years.
Driven and passionate, Marsha poured her heart into everything she did. She was a fierce supporter of her children, a loyal friend, and a source of strength for her family. Her playful spirit and sense of adventure were often shared with her best friend, Carmella Baldwin, with whom she made countless memories—some of them mischievous.
Marsha’s athleticism shone from an early age; she excelled in karate and embraced an active lifestyle throughout her life. Her connection to water was rooted in her childhood in Bathurst, New Brunswick, where she spent many cherished days by the ocean and evenings with friends at the pumphouse.
Independent and courageous, Marsha made the bold decision at 20 to move to Alberta with friends, where she pursued her education in bookkeeping. After graduating, she co-owned six ambulance services in Lac La Biche, where her and Mitchell Pfau welcomed their first daughter, Alesha. Later, she moved to Calgary, continuing her career as a personal trainer and expanding her family with the adoption of her second daughter, Destiny. In 2005, Marsha settled in Benalto, Alberta, with Jeff Bennett, Victoria, and Patrick to complete her family.
Marsha was predeceased by her father, Henry Boucher; her grandparents, Alice Boucher, Wilfred Boucher, Violet Boucher, and Lawrence Boucher. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Alesha Marcella Pfau, Destiny (Madison) Nadine Joyce Pfau, Victoria-Lynn Bennett, and Patrick Charles Bennett; her granddaughter, Presley-Violet Bennett; her mother, Marcella Boucher (Serge Dionne); her partner, Terry Safron; her sister, Dayna Fournier (Marc Fournier); and many extended family members and friends who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
