Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 212 - Sylvan Lake, Alberta
Elaine Hall was peacefully called home to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on January 17, 2024, with her husband Harry and her daughter Susan by her side.
Elaine was born on December 17, 1945, in Warburg, Alberta, and moved to Red Deer with her parents and siblings where she grew up. On October 15, 1965, Elaine married her match Harry, and together they moved to Sylvan Lake and built a home and a life together for 59 years. In that time, they welcomed 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Elaine also had a long line of wonderful friends. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid quilter. In her later years she was a beloved member of the Sylvan Lake Quilting Guild, and the Sylvan Lake Sassy Sisters. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She valued her friends and all those around her.
Elaine believed in God. She followed the 10 commandments and loved the Lord’s Prayer. She had a close relationship with God and Jesus Christ. We rejoice that she is no longer suffering and finally at home in the arms of Jesus.
Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her husband Harry Hall; her daughter Susan (Allen) Neal; grandchildren; great grandchildren; her sister Harriet (Frank) Mitchell; her brother Ron (Leanne) Hall; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Elizabeth Hall, her daughter Theresa Hall, niece Debra Symes, and nephew Todd Hall.
A Celebration of Elaine’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 212, Sylvan Lake on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
