Toni Blodgett:

It's hard to find enough words to describe this lovely cousin who grew up almost in my hip pocket. She was loved and adored by us all and I don't know anyone who was enjoying life more than Carol. She could relate to all ages and just brought joy to any gathering. I so regret being out of the country at the date of the service but my heart will be there and I know our family will be represented - we grew up as almost one family living 35 mile apart. Her folks and mine were like parents to all of us. One visit to Carol in Sylvan, she showed me a letter my dad had written to her when she had played piano in a music festival to congratulate her and tell her how proud he was of her. It meant so much she kept that letter all these many years. Good bye my dear sister/cousin and if it was your time to leave us, we must accept that and at least try and remember some of her funny stories ,laughs, hugs, just her unique self. My favourite is the one where the driver says to the policeman "He says he thinks he knows you". Sending my love to the family and I know she will never be forgotten -just terribly missed.

Bev Gunderson :

I was so very sad to hear of Carol’s passing. I always loved a visit with her. Her laugh and positivity were contagious. I met her when she worked at Cobbs Clothing and as well had the pleasure of dealing with her lovely parents when I worked at the Credit Union. She had great fashion sense and always had a sparkle to her. Deepest condolences to the family. RIP Carol. You were such a pistol!

Evelyn Gershon :

Faye & Gerry Shaw:

Carol was indeed a gem. She loved family, family was everything to her. Her favourite thing to do - laugh! There are no words at this time - death is difficult because we want our loved one with us, we don't want to live our lives without this special person. Unfortunately, we must go on without them but keep them in our memories & in our hearts. As part of Carol's family (Gerry/Faye-her brother) we know she would want us to move ahead in light & love. We love you Carol.
