As long as you speak my name, share my memories I shall live in your heart forever
Neil E Halberg
1950 to 2025
We are devastated sharing Neils Passing after a courageous battle with cancer. Everyone fought hard to keep him going, Casey and Chuck were with him every step along the way, but it was not to be. On March 21, 2025 he was free to fly with the angels.
Neil was born to Ole and Terry Halberg, in Lacombe. He grew up and spent most of his younger life living on the farm with his grandparents and 4 siblings. After his grandparents passed, he moved into their house. He met the love of his life, Judy. Before long they purchased the farm from his parents and were married. Neil got a new life; a wife, 4 kids and one grandchild, with several more grandkids following closely. He was either present for all the births or right after. He spent countless hours with all his kids, from step kids and spouses to grandkids and spouses to great grandkids.
Neil also spent a lot of time with his parents, Judys parents. He visited them most Sundays with their treats until their passing. He also had Aunts, Uncles, Friends and cousins he would regularly spend time with.
Neil had various occupations over the course of his life, he worked in Oil and made many great friends. Neil farmed for 32 years we had many great neighbors who were special friends and was still mini farming with his big lot in town. He was the yard manager at UFA in Red Deer for many years and loved to visit with staff and his many customers.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Judy; Daughter Candy and children Tyler, Jacob (Alyssa) Albertina (Brett) Hallee (Tyler) Anna, Sophia; Son Steve (Rochelle ), Stephen (Bree-Anna), Dylan (Becky), Brooke; Son Casey; Son Charles; Great grandkids Austin, Hailee, Dextyn, Lilly, Lochlan, and Colson.
