Obituary

Ray Reynolds passed away at his home in Sylvan Lake on Sunday April 13, 2025, at the age of 87 years. Born in Sylvan Lake on March 6, 1938, Ray worked with his dad from a young age in the construction business, then when his dad retired, took over the business as “Ray Reynolds & Son’s Contracting.”
Ray is survived by his wife Anne (Lightbown Solberg), his daughter Laurie (Dan) Chilibeck, his sons Brian (Gail) Reynolds, Daryl Hjelmeland, Allan Reynolds, Len (Gina) Solberg, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. Also surviving Ray are his three sisters Joyce Robertson, Gwen (Jurgen) Huebner & Sherry Blackmore. Predeceased by his son Trevor Solberg, daughter-in-in-law Marti Hjelmeland, parents Art & Lillian Reynolds, brothers Len Reynolds, Clayton Reynolds, sisters Anna (in infancy), Myrna Norem, Gloris Crosland.
