Kellington, Kari Lynn
June 17, 1968 - August 24, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kari
Kellington of Red Deer, AB, at the age of 55, on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Kari
will be remembered by many for her caring heart and a deep love of her family and friends.
Kari was born on June 17,1968 in Weyburn, SK where she resided until the age of 5 when her family moved to Red Deer, AB. Although she left Saskatchewan at
a very young age, it held a special place in her heart as she was a diehard fan of
the Roughriders and would always refer to Saskatchewan, mainly her Grandparents farm, as home.

Kari was blessed by having a son, Tyler. Though they had some difficult circumstances throughout life, her deep, unwavering love never faltered for her son, nor Tyler’s for his mother.

Kari is survived by her only child Tyler and his children Graycen,
Lyric and Avaya; her fiancé Andy Dubis; her parents Lyle & Marilyn Kellington;
her sister, brother-in-law and family Val & Ross Jeske (Brooklyn & Ryan Maloney,
Madison Jeske, Britton Jeske, Graycen Jeske) as well as her maternal
Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her Grandparents and only nephew Jacob Jeske.

There is no service planned at this time. Kari’s ashes will be returned back to her Grandparents farm at a later date where she will finally be home.

Tyler,Lyle,Marilyn,Valerie and Family. You are all in my heart and prayers at you go through this time of the passing of Kari. I miss her tremendously and have an empty void. I was so blessed to have her as a best friend/sister (from another mother). I will cherish all the memories of the time we had together. She is now in a beautiful place, she will always be remembered as a kind soul with a great sense of humor. To my sweet Bucky miss and love you always.

I want to express my sympathy to Lyle and Marilyn on the loss of your daughter. Marilyn and I
were in the prenatal class together since our daughter, Marilou was born on May 16th that year. It is very sad when parents bury their children.

We so enjoyed her phone calls always at this time of year. So it was a very hard time for me. The whole family of Kari are very special to our family. We where very close cousins. Kari always had such a fun spirit with her stories of our families. We will all miss her so much. Love to all the family. Condolences and prayers.
