its a great loss to find out maureen has past. Donna mentioned what happened. Maureen was a great human being and a mother to my son chris. She was there when chris's dad and I could not be. Her and Wilbur both stepped up. They showed me what a parent should be and thanks to Wilbur I got help for my issues and made my life better. I am truly sorry for maureen and pray she's at peace now. I pray all her family gets thru this trying time and they are all well. I hope Chris grows to be a prosperous and great parent as well yo his daughter. I am thankful for my time with maureen and her family

Norman wong:

It was sad today when my patient told me his mom died. Maureen was one of the best nurses I ever worked with. She reminded me of a old timex watch. She took a beating from life but kept on ticking. I first met her back in the 60s she was working at the general hospital. She knew her stuff and wasn't afraid to tell you. She had a hard life but she made the best of everything. She was a great mother to her kids, she deserved better and made her way. It's a sad day to find out about what happened but at least she past in the area she most loved. She was a beautiful woman and friend

Our paths in Nursing crossed many times over the years, and I truly admired Maureen in so many ways. She was a dedicated nurse who excelled in the area “above and beyond”. She will be missed, she made a difference, she left her mark.

My mom was thee best mom ever for the past few years Shelley and I have been there thru her surgeries and it was a joy to have her here at the house. She was giving and one of the kindness people ever. Her battle was hard for her but she kept strong. She was a beautiful woman/mother/friend.
She would give the shirt off her back to help someone, she well deserved the respect she was due. She enjoy her lobster and her crab. Oh ya give her a bucket of shrimp and they would be but most of all she was loving caring and most of all she was compassionate to all
