July 3, 1951- September 15,2022

Laura was born to Don and Edna (Polly) Ross of Eckville, Alberta. She attended and graduated from David Thompson High, in 1969. Laura then went on to Red Deer College and the University of Alberta, to get her Nursing Degree. She married Leonard MacDonald in 1971 and resided and worked in the Eckville area until late 1986.
She spent many years working Long Term Care in Calgary and Edmonton. Laura retired in the early part of 2021. She was diagnosed with ALS in December 2021 and lost her battle this September.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Lynne Reimer, son, Scott (Debbie) MacDonald, four grandchildren: Katie (Kyle) Swayn-Shannon, Jasmin Reimer, Morgan and Connor MacDonald, brother Blair (Leora) and sister, Lorna (Chris Stewart)and Alexi Edey, Tiara (Ryan) Forsythe, Shereen Jawad, and Sureal Forsythe.
Laura was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, in 1988, father and mother, Don (2014) and Edna (2017) Ross.
Laura was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
