In Memory Of

Chad Donald Wandler

Jan 22, 1984 - Mar 13, 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, on March 13, 2021, at the age of 37. Chad was born on January 22, 1984. His first twelve years were growing up on the family farm by Handel, Saskatchewan. In 1996, we moved to an acreage in Grandora, Saskatchewan, where he attended school in Asquith for the next three years. From there he finished his high school at Mount Royal Collegiate, and then moved to Sylvan Lake, Alberta.

Chad’s love for the farm and country life stayed with him till the end. He had a passion for the outdoors whether it be spending countless hours fishing and hunting, riding his Harley or picking up a new vehicle to tinker with. He worked in the oil patch for most of his life which included an adventure of working in Cuba. He also followed in his father’s footsteps and spent a number of years driving truck.

Chad will forever be remembered for his huge smile and kind heartedness and there is nothing he would not do for anyone. He would always go the extra mile for his family and friends. Left to mourn are his parents, Don Wandler and Leona Schwebius, his son Liam, his sisters Candice and Daryn, niece Aria, brother Derek and sister-in-law Lady May. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Charlie and Pauline Schwebius, Frank and Katie Wandler. Uncles Gary Wandler, Bernie Schwebius, and Don Little. Aunty Bertie Wandler, and cousin baby McKenna Schwebius.

Memorial donations can be made to the Prairie Harm Reduction Services. .
