Jamie Lynn Sonmor Dolan

January 4, 1977 – October 8, 2020

Jamie Lynn Sonmor Dolan, born, January 4, 1977 in Edmonton, Alberta, beloved daughter of Terry Douglas Sonmor and MaryLou Bourk, chose to end her journey on this earth on Thursday, October 8, 2020. She is survived by her three beautiful children Kale Tomas Dolan, Casey Alicia Dolan and Eraca Kennedy Dolan, her parents Terry Sonmor and MaryLou Bourk, her sister Stacey Nicole Clarke, and her fur babies Karma, Oakley and Emma.

Jamie, with her unforgettable smile and infectious laugh was adored by everyone who really knew her. She was spunky, loyal, strong willed and loving with a gracious spirit. She loved family gatherings and was a creative and talented home designer and loved her New England Patriots. Her effortless beauty shined from within. Jamie lived with passion, courage, and fierce independence. The true Momma-Bear, she was dedicated, selfless and hardworking and accomplished young mother whose ultimate desire was to give her three beautiful children the life they deserve, for they were precious to her.

A cherished and devoted mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend who was loved deeply. She left an impression of every soul that she touched. She was simply happy, genuine, forgiving, full of joy and light, little did any of us know, she did not save enough light for herself.

To lose Jamie in this abrupt manner is unfathomable, it is a finality difficult to accept. It has left a longing to understand the rationale. Her death has marred us in significant, painful, and permanent ways. The desperation, pain and despair Jamie must have endured to feel it best to leave her beloved children and her family is unimaginable. We will carry Jamie’s legacy with us – her determination, intelligence, strength, and warmth, as well as her fears, her flaws, her untimely death.

We will see her in the faces and mannerisms of her children as they grow and take comfort in knowing we will be together again one day and that our precious girl has found her way to comfort and peace.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe account for Jamie’s children.
