GORDON VICTOR PADGET
May 24, 1934 – April 12, 2021
Gordon Victor Padget was born on May 24, 1934 and passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021 at the age of 86 years in Red Deer, Alberta.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce, daughters Sherri Padget and Janice Kowalczuk (Trent) all of Edmonton.
He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Evelyn Padget, brothers Henry, Richard, sisters Joan Werner, Irene Werner and Laura Schlauch.
Gordon lived in Barrhead and moved to St. Paul in 1957 where he owned a tire shop. It was at that time they started their family. In 1979 the family moved to Kelowna where he owned and operated a Bumper to Bumper Store in Westbank, B.C. In July of 1995 Gordon and Joyce moved to Sylvan Lake to be closer to their daughters and Gordon retired.
He enjoyed fixing lawn mowers, garden tractors and working on vehicles. Gordon and Joyce enjoyed travelling in their motorhome.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services as Gordon had requested.
If friends so desire memorial donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
