Obituary
Susie Anagak Rutledge of Eckville, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Hospice Society on February 6, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on December 9, 1958. Susie is predeceased by her parents Angus and Sarah Atigikyoak.
Susie will be dearly missed by her children Eileen, Scott, Hans, and Roger Wayne; granddaughters Taya and Sophie; her husband Roger Blaine; stepdaughter Charity; and step-grandchildren Brittany and Nathan.
She will also be dearly missed by all her family in her hometown Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. Including her brother John Halalak, sister-in-law Ada, sister Jeannie, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, great nieces and great nephews.
Susie will be missed by many who were touched by her kindness and sweetness. She had a laugh that could light up a whole room, along with her social butterfly personality.
We raise a glass to Susie in remembrance and cheers to a restful paradise.
A Memorial Service in memory of Susie will be held at 1:00 P.M on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Billy Zee's in Eckville, Alberta.
