Obituary

Madeleine Ducharme
It is with great sadness that the family of Madeleine Ducharme born October 7th, 1926, announces her passing at Bethany Long Term Care in Sylvan Lake, AB after a brief illness on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 at the age of 92. Madeleine will be lovingly remembered by her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Malcom Ducharme and later spent her years with Ted Desjarlais, to whom she was a Dearing mother in law and grandmother to his children.
With Malcom she shared 7 sons and 1 daughter; Clifford predeceased (Christina) 2 Children, Walter (Vera) 4 Children, 15 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Virginia Sage (Robert) 3 Children and 5 Grandchildren, Remi predeceased (Jolene) 3 children and 8 grandchildren, (Hazel) 1 child predeceased. (Alice) I child and 1 grandchild, Gilbert (Joan) 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Gerald (Cheryl) 2 children, and 9 grandchildren. (Angie) 6 children and 7 grandchildren. Donnie 9Gloria) 3 children and 1 child predeceased and 14 grandchildren. Brian (Karen predeceased), 3 Children and 4 grandchildren. (Gwen) 1 child and 3 grandchildren, (Donna) 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
She also came from a large family of 12 siblings with 10 sisters; Lucy, Margret, Florence, Ida, Rita, Alice, Matilda, Eliza, Rosemary, and Jenny, and 2 brothers Simon and John. She also had numerous nieces and nephews and many long-time friends.
Madeleine was born in Desmarais, Alberta. She lived in Paddle Prairie and moved many places through out her lifetime including Prince George and Grande Prairie but finally making her home in Sylvan Lake. She loved the Lord and her family. Her memory, legacy and love will live on forever. She will be greatly and deeply missed.
