Obituary

Chantelle Lillian Kemmis
October 9th, 1987- November 29th,2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter Chantelle on November 29th, 2018. Chantelle was an amazing girl inside and out. She had the most beautiful smile, that would light up any room she was in. She loved being outdoors, visiting farms, and had a great passion for gardening. Everyone who knew Chantelle loved her. She was warm, caring, kind and an all-around people person with numerous friends. She loved her animals, especially her dog Buddy, who chose her to be his human. Chantelle’s pride and joy was her daughter Dakoda. She was the worlds best mom and did everything for her daughter.
Chantelle is survived by her sweet girl, Dakoda Kemmis, Parents; Robert and Susan Kemmis, Siblings; Jerrod (Krista), Donna (Autumn), Kathy (Travis), and Terrilynn. Grandfather, Bernard Wolkowski, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, Charles and Ella Kemmis, grandmother and step grandfather, Mona and Frank Sinclair and step-grandmother, Betty Wolkowski.
A Celebration of Chantelle’s life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Legion Branch 212, 4916 50th Ave, on January 9th, 2019 at 1:00pm. If anyone is wishing to make a memorial donation in Chantelle’s name, donations can be made to the Central Alberta Women’s Outreach Society.
The family would like to thank Chantelle’s friends for all their love and support and the GoFundMe page that was set up for Dakoda. They would also like to thank all of Dakoda’s friends and their parents for their support and kindness during this difficult time in her life. A special thanks to Beacon Hill School, you have all been so incredible to us! As well as a huge Thank You to the Sylvan Lake Tim Hortons Staff and Patrons for their kindness and love to our family.
