It’s with deep sadness the family of Ken Hermary announce his sudden but peaceful passing in Caroline, AB, March 19, 2019.
Ken was the eldest child born it Paul and Kennethe Hermary of Clive, AB on August 03, 1960 in Calgary, AB. He is survived by; both is parents, sister Cyndie Smith of Clive, brother Kerry (Debra) of Lacombe, sister Laurie of Lacombe, 7 nieces and nephews along with their spouses, 14 great nieces and nephews, numerous Aunts, Uncles Cousins and Friends. Ken was predeceased by his brother in law and best friend, Steven Smith in 2016.
Ken was very sociable and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He looked forward to family occasion where he would light up the skies and sometimes himself with an elaborate fireworks display! Ken enjoyed many adventures in life including fly-fishing, boating, quading, hiking and touring the mountains.
Ken worked many years as an inter-provincial read seal journeyman carpenter and scaffler. He enjoyed being a volunteer firefighter in Clive and then Caroline. Ken would be proud to know that the Caroline Fire Department came to aid him on his final day! Thank you for all the support and help!
Ken’s family invites everyone to his Memorial Service on April 1st,2019 at the Caroline Legion Branch 177, 5116 49st, Caroline, AB at 1:00pm. For those who wish to make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers in Ken’s name, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.

I worked with ken at cnrl horizon on night shift for ft services for about a year it was great to have known him all my wishes to the family I am sorry to hear about his passing
